Why this is the largest point-source system worth building
A point-source loudspeaker loses 6 dB every time the distance doubles. In an 80 foot room, the seat at 20 feet and the seat at 80 feet are 12 dB apart from the same box, which means the front rows are being shouted at whenever the back row can hear. Aiming and multiple boxes reduce that spread but cannot remove it.
A line array behaves differently: near the array the level falls at roughly 3 dB per doubling rather than 6, so front and back stay far closer together. That is the whole reason large rooms use them. Past about 700 seats, or in any room deeper than about 100 feet, the honest recommendation is a line array specified by an integrator with prediction software, not a bigger version of this list. Doubling from 250 to 500 seats roughly doubles the equipment cost, but the changes that matter are cardioid subwoofers, delayed fills and digital wireless, not simply more of everything.

What you can skip
Skip the wireless in-ear channels for the band. One for the worship leader is right; eight is not. Each one competes with your six wireless microphones for the same shrinking spectrum. The wired personal mixers in this build do the same job for less money, with no coordination and no batteries.
Skip the outboard channel strips. The SQ-5 has compression, gating and parametric EQ on all 48 channels.
Skip the 4K cameras if video is on the same purchase order. Audio in a 500 seat room is the harder problem and the one people notice. Do the sound properly, then build the video system as its own project.
What to upgrade first
A professional acoustic measurement, before the order goes in. At 3,750 square feet with a high ceiling the room holds a lot of air, and reverberation is the one problem that no loudspeaker fixes. Then delay speakers, if the room is deep. An 80 foot throw means the back rows hear the platform about 70 milliseconds late, and under a balcony they may hear almost nothing direct. How many wireless channels can we run at 500 seats?
The seat count does not decide it. What decides it is how many 6 MHz TV channels are empty at your address.
