Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains what ChurchSoundCalc collects and why. The short version: we run standard web analytics, we use affiliate links, and the only personal information we ever hold is an email address you have deliberately typed into a form.

What we collect

What we do not collect

We do not ask for or store payment details, we do not run user accounts, and we have no way of linking analytics data to a named person. We do not sell data to anybody, ever.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another. Affiliate links set a cookie at the retailer so that a purchase can be attributed to us; that cookie belongs to the retailer and is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site works normally without them.

Third parties

Analytics is provided by Google. Their practices are described in Google's privacy policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with their browser add-on. Product links go to Amazon, whose privacy notice covers what happens once you arrive there. Product images are served from Amazon's image hosts, and fonts are served by Google Fonts.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will. The simplest route for an email address is the unsubscribe link in any message we send, which removes it immediately. For anything else, contact us.

Children

This site is aimed at adults specifying equipment for a church building. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
