Can I mount a ZLX-12P on a wall bracket?
Not over people. Without manufacturer-rated suspension points there is no engineered load path, and a bracket clamped to the cabinet is not an approved attachment. If the position is over a walkway or seating, buy the ELX200 or another cabinet designed for suspension and have the attachment signed off properly.
Do they sound different?
Very close, because they share a horn pattern and a driver family. The ELX200 has slightly more amplifier headroom and more capable processing, which shows when a box is tuned for a specific position. In a simple two-speaker system with both on stands, most listeners would not identify one from the other.
Which is better value for a 200 seat church?
The ZLX if the boxes go on stands, the ELX200 if they go on the wall. At 200 seats neither is short of output, so the mounting method is genuinely the deciding factor. Spend anything left over on a subwoofer or a third box rather than on a larger main.
Does the ELX200 need a separate processor?
